Memorial Day, set aside to honor those who served in the U. S. Armed Forces, is also for many of us an annual occasion to remember family and friends who have touched our lives but are no longer here. This Sunday’s service will acknowledge Remembrance and consider relaxing into a spiritual practice of Renewal. We will also be celebrating Flower Communion, an all-ages ceremony. Everyone is invited to bring a few stems of flower to share. Extra flowers will be available for those who may not have flowers in bloom.
